As a member of The Scholarship Society, you’ll address the ongoing educational challenges in Uganda.

We believe that greater access to education, creative expression, and physical activity helps to break the cycle of poverty and prepares kids to thrive in all areas of life.
For The Teachers
Teachers are essential to our education programs. Without teachers our programs simply wouldn’t exist — and that’s why funds from The Scholarship Society go directly to supporting them.
For the Community
Despite great progress in reducing countrywide poverty, Uganda remains one of the poorest nations in the world. In a country where chronic poverty is the backdrop to society, there are critical shortcomings in its developmental policies. We work to address these problems by ending the cycle of poverty.
