Rebecca Frangie, Development Associate

Becca joined the AIA team February of 2023 as a Development Intern. She began her AIA journey by starting a club at her University in 2020 and joined The Leadership Committee late 2022. Wanting to further her involvement with AIA, an organization she has fallen in love with and feels so passionate about, she officially joined the inspiring team as AIA’s Development Intern.

Becca is continually excited to meet, work with, and get to know the AIA team stateside and in Uganda, while further discovering what makes AIA’s community-led organization so special. She now serves as a Development associate and loves utilizing her strategic mindset and coursework to serve as a resource in generating development ideas, events, and materials, helping Action in Africa reach new heights.

Outside of Action in Africa, she is a recent graduate from the University of Florida with a BS in Informations Systems & Operations Management and a Masters of Science in Marketing.  She recently moved to New York and is excited at what this new adventure will bring. Becca loves traveling, sports (Golf is a new favorite), cooking with friends, classic movies, and discovering local hidden gems - specifically coffee shops. You will find her outside in the sun 95% of the time!
