This year, we are thrilled to celebrate her in a new capacity: as the chair of our 10th Annual Winter Gala and as a fellow traveler on our upcoming journey to Uganda.

This year, she took her commitment to the next level by stepping into a leadership role for our Winter Gala, our most significant fundraising event of the year, and quite possibly, the decade. Devon’s enthusiasm, creative-thinking, and background have already made her an invaluable part of the planning process.

In addition to her work on the Winter Gala, Devon will join us on a transformative trip to Uganda. Reflecting on her past travels, Devon described Africa as a place where joy radiates in every interaction and resilience shines through in the faces of the individuals we support. For Devion, her trip was more than just a visit; it was a profound opportunity to witness the tangible impact of her support and connect directly with vibrant communities.

As Devon enters a new chapter in her personal life, she finds the timing of attending the groundbreaking ceremony at our new Sentema campus synchronistic.
